Well Chicago, the Lions have pretty much gift wrapped the NFC North for you.
After a dismal offensive showing and questionable play-calling, the Lions lost their fourth game of the season by four points or less, their fourth of the last five and proved they aren't ready to take over the NFC North and clinch their first division title since 1993.
Detroit still is in the playoff race, but need some help from the state of Pennslyvania when the Bears take on the Eagles and the Packers face the Steelers.
The Lions will face the down-and-out New York Giants at home next week, who seem to be even more turnover prone than the Lions. But given how Detroit has played the past five weeks, can fans even expect to beat up the 5-9 Giants?
The answer is no. If there is one thing I've gathered from my Twitter feed last night at the end of the game, Lions fans' hopes of a division title have disappeared, and with a strong race in the wild card, so has a playoff spot.
